Product: Traditional Table Lard A lighter, bite-sized version of a South African classic — crisp on the outside and soft inside, fried the traditional way in lard.
Ingredients: 2 cups flour 1 tsp salt 10 g instant yeast ¾ cup warm water 1 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp oil Traditional Table Lard, for frying
Filling: Curried mince or spicy lentils.
Method: 1. Combine dry ingredients, add warm water and oil, knead until soft. 2. Let rise 1 hour. 3. Shape small balls, fry in hot lard until golden. 4. Slice open and fill with curried mince.
